In many countries, the consumption of alcohol and tobacco is allowed to citizens of legal age, however, other addictive substances are considered illegal because they are harmful to health. From this point of view, the question is whether governments should also declare the consumption of alcohol and tobacco illegal.
Personally, I believe that alcohol and tobacco should also be considered illegal substances because they have not health benefits. Studies show that their consumption affects the organs of the body and causes many diseases and, in the most serious cases, derived from an addiction to these substances, people can die.
Furthermore, although the consumption of alcohol and tobacco is only allowed to adults, it is clear to me that minors obtain these substances very easily. There are many stores where alcohol and tobacco are sold to them.
All in all, I think governments should be braver and declare these substances illegal. It would be a way to protect the health of all citizens.

Personally, I believe that it is a good idea for shop owners to offer discounts before the Christmas holidays, because it is clear that consumers will buy cheaper Christmas gifts and, at the same time, shop owners will increase sales. Therefore, both parties, seller and buyer, will benefit.
Moreover, I think that Black Friday does not have to involve only consumerism. In my opinion, consumerism is not the same as responsible consumption and this day of discounts allows people to buy gifts and necessary things at better prices.
In conclusion, I think that if you do not buy compulsively, a day like Black Friday is necessary to get products with discounts and save money on Christmas gifts.
