Dialogue - Rubén Sánchez

Mr. Walker and Ms. Mary are meeting in the teachers' room discussing about if they have to put the compulsory ICT subject in school:

Ms. Mary: Well Walker, I think that adding the subject of ICT to the school program is a very good option because nowadays technology is part of our lives and I think it's good to implement it since they are young.

Mr. Walker: You are right that technology is part of our lives, but don't you think that there are more important subjects than ICT such as math, physics or chemistry? I think more time should be spent on subjects like these instead of ICT.

Ms. Mary: And why do you think that the subject of ICT is less important than math or chemistry?

Mr. Walker: Because it isn't the typical subject that have been done a during all time and we can't change the school program.

Ms. Mary: And why can't we change the school program?

Mr. Walker: Because...

Ms. Mary: Because...?

Mr. Walker: Well, we will introduce ICT one year to see how it works and next year we will decide again if we have to eliminate it or continue to put it
