Informal letter - Lluís Vaz

Hello!

I received your email telling me that you would want to join Facebook. Facebook, which has been growing up a lot during the last year.

First of all, Facebook, as a global page, can keep you in contact with lots of people. As an example, last year I met a boy called John and we still talk on that media site.

Secondly, I don't think Facebook is going to take so much time to you, it depends on how much time do you want to spend. For example, on exams time I do not use that page, and when I have some time I post and read at other's users posts an I check new profile, so you can use it when you haven't got more things to do.

Concluding, I think that Facebook can perfectly suit with you, and would be amazing to see you there as soon as possible!

I look forward to hearing from you,

Regards,

Lluís

Option 1:

Hi Sarah,

I'm writing to reference what will do when I state in Sydney.

During the week that I state in Sydney I want to have a beter level of inglish.

I want to learn the typical customs and celebrations in Australian.

The first day yo can show me the city, the most inportants places and monuments. Moreover I want learn the tipical food on Sydney because I love the gastronomy.

An other thing that I will like to do is go to de Zoo or a natural reserve to see the tipicals animals in Astralia.

Finally I'm sure that we will pass a good week together. I'm sure that we won't have time to do all that I want to do.

See you soon.

Bye

Daniel

Option 2:

Hi Ivan

You send me a question, If you need a Facebook or no?

Personally I think yes.

Facebook have a lot of more advantage than the others social networks. In Facebook you can connect your users to the games.

Facebook is more professional than other social networks, on Facebook you can find job offers, discounts on games and products.

Since you like games, Facebook has free games every week so you can try it. Then those games have a discount for you.

Another advantage that have Facebook is that yo don't need send fotos if you do not like it, because the most people use Facebook for other things and not to tell their lifes.

See you later.

Bye

Daniel

Hi there Sarah, how have the family been?
Sorry I haven’t written for so long, but I have had so much work that I forgot to contact you.
I’m glad to hear that your parents were happy with the idea that I could stay in Australia with your family.
During the visit I would like to know more about Australian culture. Music, main dishes… you know.
How about going to a cultural festival?
I would also like to know more about Australian artistic style and sculptures, it have always fascinated me. I reckon going to a museum would be a great idea.
Anyway, don’t forget to let me know the dates of the stay in Australia.
Regards to your parents,
Marcos

Hi John,

What have you been up to lately? I heard that you’re studying for the Advanced, I already had it last year, not much to worry about.

To my surprise, Kevin told me last friday that you are still reluctant to open a Facebook account, nonsense in my opinion. How are you supposed to share you life’s most important moments with me? Facebook obviously, what else?

You don’t have to worry about the time you invest in it, as long as you check it every now and then you’ll be fine. Privacy is not a problem in there, just change the privacy settings of your account and you’ll be fine. There’s literally no excuse for not creating a Facebook account, it’s free for God’s sake.

It’s not only me, many people back in school want you to create one, so you better get busy.

Take care friend,

Pablo

Hi Sarah,

How is everything going in Australia?, I hope everything goes perfect and you and your family are well. I am very excited to meet your family and your country, since according to what I have heard Australia is amazing.

I have been looking for images from Australia and I find it incredible, I really want to see kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and especially the Tasmanian devils that are very few. Apart from these animals that I would love to see, I would also like to see the most emblematic sites of Australia, and take a guided tour of these incredible sites.

I would also like to go to discover natural places that you know, to be able to connect with nature. And also that you will explain to me about different traditions of Australia, to learn more about the culture of your country.

Well, as you can see, I am very excited to see you! If everything goes well, I should arrive next Tuesday!

See you in a few days!

Cuarentino.

Hello Sarah,

I’m writing to thank you for inviting me to spend a few days with your family in the city of Sydney.

It is the first time that I visit Australia, and I am very exhausted. I love to travel and this is the only continent that I have never visited.

Surely we will have little time to explore and get to know this country, but I would love to get out of here having learned something of the language, known many native people of Australia, and having visited the most emblematic places of the city.

It will be necessary to prepare a list of objectives to meet each day, a kind of calendar, and equip ourselves with good shoes and comfortable clothes, because we will spend all day walking!

See you soon,

Best wishes,

Albert

Hi Sarah,

How's it going? I've been studying really hard for my final exams, so I guess it's been a while since we last got a hold of each other.
Regardless, I'm writing to thank you for inviting me over to Australia this summer, I know our parents already talked about it but I just couldn't contain my excitement! There are so many things I’d like to do there; for one, I heard the wildlife there is so much more diverse than over here in the US, my friend Joe showed me this video of a wild cockatoo drinking from a fountain there, the only wild birds I've ever seen are pigeons...
I'd also love to go sightseeing, obviously, and, if it isn't too much of a hassle, I'd like to request  that we go to the Sydney Opera House first; since I want to be an architect when i grow up, i love seeing all kinds of complex buildings from all over the world when I travel (which, admittedly, isn't as often as I’d like to, but you know how things are with my family...).

Anyways, i really have to get my homework done before tomorrow, so i should get going.
Send our regards to mr. and miss. Jones, and thank you again for having me 😊

See you soon,
Manuel.

Hi Sarah,

How are you? Thanks for your letter. It was great to been accepted to stay some time with your family in Australia.

In the time that I will be in your house, I want to learn as much I can, the language, I know a little bit, and all about your culture, it's a thing that captive me. Also, I want to know about the food, the most important places and the most important thing, the people. Another thing that I want to learn, is the education and the "rules" of your society that specify your way of life.

I will be the most polite and organized person and I would do all the things to be part of your family for some time.

I will see you in a few weeks, I am so nervous.

See you soon!

Simone.

Dear Antetokoumpo,

How is it going? How is your family? Hope everything goes well. Sorry if I haven't spoke to you recently, I've been very busy because of my new job as a gardener in a mansion, they pay me super well and I'm delighted.

Haven't you created a Facebook account yet? I don't understand how you can live without it. You don't have to be afraid of losing your privacy, Facebook has many tools and solutions so that your account is safe and can only be seen by whoever you want.

Apart from that, if you are self-sufficient and can regulate the time that you are connected, you'll not have any problem, and I know that you can do it.

I have to go, there ara couple of weed that I have to remove. Hope I have convinced you to create an account.

See you soon bro,

Chygrynskiy

Hi Sarah,

How are things in Australia? I was making the suitcase just five minutes before writing you. I was thinking in all the things I will learn and all the culture I will know in Australia! I'm so excited!

Many people say that Australia is the most dangerous country in the world. I hope to don't meet spiders or snakes during my journey.
I want to see kangaroos and koalas, that could be unoriginal, but I don't care. These animals fascinate me very much.

I want to learn how is live in Australia. How do you celebrate christmas in summer? Which kind of food do you eat? What do you see on the TV? I want to learn everything about Australia!

If everything goes well I will arrive there this Saturday so... See you soon!

Informal email - Pau Peña

Dear Sarah,

Hi, yesterday I received the mail of your invitation to stay some time living in Sydney with your family. I obviously accept it, I must be crazy to refuse it since we haven’t seen each other for so many years.

I’m so excited for learning so many things about the country, because I find really curious the lifestyle of the people from different cultures. First of all I would like to visit many monuments and typical places of the city. I would also love to try all the traditional food of the country, because I always like to taste new flavors and if it’s possible to learn any new cooking recipe I won’t have any problem to help to prepare it.

Anyway, I don’t want to burden you with my petitions. All I expect is to learn as much as I can, and spend a good time with you. I can’t wait to see after so long.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hugs,

Pau
