Hi Sarah,
How's it going? I've been studying really hard for my final exams, so I
guess it's been a while since we last got a hold of each other.
Regardless, I'm writing to thank you for inviting me over to Australia
this summer, I know our parents already talked about it but I just couldn't
contain my excitement! There are so many things I’d like to do there; for one, I
heard the wildlife there is so much more diverse than over here in the US, my
friend Joe showed me this video of a wild cockatoo drinking from a fountain
there, the only wild birds I've ever seen are pigeons...
I'd also love to go sightseeing, obviously, and, if it isn't too much of
a hassle, I'd like to request that we go to the Sydney Opera House first;
since I want to be an architect when i grow up, i love seeing all kinds of
complex buildings from all over the world when I travel (which, admittedly,
isn't as often as I’d like to, but you know how things are with my family...).
Anyways, i really have to get my homework done before tomorrow, so i should
get going.
