Dialogue Option 2 - Irene Plana

Mike and Savannah are two teachers that have just finished classes and they are discussing the rights and wrongs of Information and Communication Technology (ICT, learning how to use new technologies) as a school subject.

Mike: I've been thinking that our school needs to update the subjects like putting ICT, don't you think?

Savannah: I totally agree with you. Nowadays, technology has taken part a lot in our lives, such as we use it for our daily bases. So, it will be great to teach our students how to use technology.

Mike: I believe that this will be difficult, because to teach that, we need a lot of computers and get all of them will be difficult for our school as we don't have financial resources.

Savannah: Yeah, that's true, but if the school wants, they will do their best to get the maximum of computers. I only see one problem. If the students get their computers, maybe they will get distracted easier. What's your opinion about it?

Mike: I see your point, but I think that we should trust them, furthermore, the school material is very old and needs to be renewed.

Savannah: You're right!
