Option 1: Pol González Casals
Speaking two languages has obvious practical benefits in an increasingly globalized world.
Firstly, Speaking a second language improves problem-solving, multitasking and decision-making. Numerous studies have found that bilingualism can improve brain functions like the ability to focus attention and perform mental tasks. In addition, being bilingual can give to the children an academic advantage and at time to travel makes it easier and more enjoyable. Another advantage is that when you have children, you can raise your kids bilingual even since young age.
On the other hand, when one is bilingual tends to mix languages, if they lack the words to use in a language, they simply fill it up with words from another language. Also, bilingual individuals sometimes prefer to speak one language more than the other, making one of the languages dominant. This is a regular occurrence as they might finds one easier than the other and hence expose themselve to it even more.
To sum up, I think that being bilingual is better than don't be it, because at a world where there are such different idioms, the better qualificated you are, more easy you have.
